What is my primary language and how do I change mine?

Your primary language in Appen Connect will be your first language, also known as your “mother tongue” or “native language." You may, of course, speak more than one language with equal fluency. You can add your other languages and your proficiency level from ‘Beginner’ to ‘Native’ under the Spoken Proficiency and Written Proficiency dropdowns.

Be sure to add all your languages with their proficiency levels – this will maximize the number of projects you are eligible to apply for and work on.
