A 1099-MISC is an annual tax form required to be filed for independent contractors located in the US. The form is used to report miscellaneous income paid to individuals and businesses that are self-employed. Appen Contributors who are paid at least $600 during a calendar year and who reside in the US, will receive a 1099-MISC (mailed by January 31st each year.) Please allow several days for delivery.
